A digital health coach can assist even the busiest baby-boomer with developing a fitness program. We live in a digital cyber-world that an aging population has embraced in their lifetimes. There's a play on words that produced the term "stick-to-it-ive-ness". The term may not be a real word, but it has real meaning in the fitness world. It means having the dedication and determination to adhere to a regular fitness program no matter how difficult it may be to find the time to exercise.

For example, most people think you have to exercise the full 30 or more minutes all at once to get the physical benefits. This isn't true. You can break your exercise routine into smaller segments throughout the day and still get the healthy benefits. Of course, you need to know which exercises will give you the greatest impact so those exercise segments are effective.

Sticking with an exercise program is much easier when you can get the help you need through a digital health coach. A digital health coach is an online personal trainer who offers streaming video exercise directions, video conferencing exercise consultations, and email or phone support. The flow of information between you and the coach is as steady as you want and need to stay motivated.

Your stick-to-it-ive-ness is the first ingredient for fitness success. But you can be as determined as possible to adhere to an exercise plan, and still find your motivation waning. It's easy to let exercising take a back seat to everything else.
